Make your first API request

Elite Neo Bank APIs use secure authentication and signature-based requests. Example endpoint

JavaScript

Python

cURL

Go

Important: Use the exact payload serialization and signature rules specified in the Authentication guide for your API. The examples above illustrate the general signing flow; ensure key sorting and JSON formatting match the server-side verification requirements.

Parse the response

A successful request may return a response similar to the following. Use the actual response schema documented for the endpoint you are integrating.

Troubleshooting

This usually happens when the request signature is invalid or required authentication headers are missing.Verify the following:
  • x-client-id is correct.
  • x-signature is generated properly.
  • x-timestamp is a valid UNIX timestamp in seconds.
  • Your API secret key is correct.
  • The request body matches the exact payload used during signature generation.
The general signature formula is:
Important rules:
  • Payload keys may need to be recursively sorted, as specified by the API’s authentication requirements.
  • JSON serialization must be consistent.
  • Generate the signature using the exact request payload sent to the API.
This means one or more required request fields are missing or invalid.Common causes include:
  • Invalid amount format.
  • Missing order_id.
  • Invalid UPI ID or bank details.
  • Empty request body.
  • Invalid JSON structure.
For Create Order API, check fields such as amount, customer_mobile, and order_id. Also ensure Content-Type: application/json and a valid JSON request body are sent.
Transactions may remain in processing while awaiting confirmation from banking or UPI networks.Recommended actions:
  • Use Order Status API for payments.
  • Use Payout Status API for payouts.
  • Avoid creating duplicate requests for the same transaction.
Check that you are using the correct environment and API endpoint, that the request payload matches the API documentation, that webhook responses are parsed correctly, and that transaction status is verified using status APIs.Prefer Order Status API and Payout Status API over relying only on frontend callback responses.
Verify that:
  • The webhook URL is publicly accessible.
  • Your server returns HTTP 200 OK.
  • The SSL certificate is valid.
  • The firewall is not blocking requests.
Your webhook should accept POST requests, process JSON payloads, and respond quickly. Elite Neo Bank may retry failed webhook deliveries according to its delivery policy.
This is often caused by payload formatting differences.Ensure that payload sorting and JSON encoding are consistent, the timestamp is generated in seconds, and no extra spaces or formatting changes are introduced.
Your payout wallet balance may be low. Check the available balance using Balance Inquiry API, ensure sufficient funds are available, and verify the payout limits configured for your account.
Elite Neo Bank may block duplicate transaction attempts for security and reconciliation. Always use a unique order_id, avoid retrying immediately, and check transaction status before retrying a failed transaction.
For reliable verification, use Order Status API for payments and Payout Status API for payouts. Avoid relying only on frontend redirects, user-side success screens, or temporary processing responses.
